Getting Started
What it is
Open /pets to find your collection and rewards. Raise a companion, then activate it and practise its family skill.
You do not need to buy a permanent attachment or rename a pet to begin. Those choices can wait until you understand the companion you want to keep. Earned eggs and purchased items enter Pet Delivery first. A physical pet item must be redeemed into your collection before it can become your companion. An egg is a different item with a different opening process.

How to start
Use Pet Hub > Your Pets to check whether you already own a companion. If the collection is empty, return to Pet Hub > Pet Delivery. Existing skill progress is checked after your profile loads when you join. Eligible skill milestones and Power Level rewards can therefore provide eggs even if you earned those levels before joining the pet system.
Check the egg's instructions before opening it. Family eggs go into a physical incubator. Egg Hatchery also describes older hand-hatched eggs, but it is a help menu rather than a universal hatching machine. Do not try to place an egg as a decorative block. Read the family and incubation guide before using a valuable egg.
Steps
- Open /pets and choose Pet Delivery. Free an inventory storage slot, then collect a reward stack.
- Read your egg instructions. For a family egg, obtain and place an incubator in a suitable family biome, then insert the egg through its menu.
- Return to the incubator when incubation finishes. Follow the baby growth stage and collect your grown pet when it is ready.
- Open Pet Hub > Your Pets. Left-click an idle pet to activate it. Activating another pet replaces your current companion.
- Shift-right-click the pet to open Pet Details. Read its family, level, abilities, Family Resource and next rarity requirements.
- Perform the listed family skill and check the level display. Open Ability Codex or Buff Guide whenever a status or trigger is unfamiliar.

What can go wrong
If Delivery refuses a withdrawal, free an entire inventory slot and try again. It collects a whole stack in a click. If an item remains held, rejoin and follow the message shown in Delivery. Repeated clicks do not make a held item available sooner. Contact the server team if the message remains after you rejoin.
A pet undergoing an upgrade cannot be activated or withdrawn. A separate activation timer also stops summoning until its displayed end. An invisible head does not always mean the pet is inactive: Pet Visibility and Pet Labels are separate preferences, and vanish hides companion visuals. Check the active pet in Your Pets before attempting another summon.
Worked example
Suppose Mining has already reached a listed skill milestone. Rejoin, wait for your skill profile to finish loading and open Pet Delivery. Collect Pebble Whelp Egg reward, then use a suitable incubator. When the grown pet enters your collection, activate it from Your Pets and mine normally.
Terravore uses Mining. Eligible Mining XP feeds pet progression at 100%, while another skill feeds it at 50%, before repeated-action reductions and recipient bonuses. These percentages are conversion rates. They are not the chance of finding another egg. Keep the egg and XP systems separate when checking your progress.
More to know
Your collection can contain many pets, but gameplay uses a single active companion. Favorites help organize the collection and do not create an extra active slot. EXP Share trains selected idle pets only when you have capacity and an active companion earns eligible XP. It does not activate their abilities.
The first session is a sequence of useful actions, not a promise that incubation and baby growth finish immediately. Those stages have their own timers. Close a menu and continue ordinary play while a timer runs. Check the appropriate progression guide before spending coins or making an irreversible choice.
Your questions
Why is my collection empty?
An egg and a physical pet item are not collection entries. Hatch the egg or redeem the pet item, then reopen Your Pets.
Do I lose my old skill levels?
No. Eligible previously earned skill and Power Level rewards are checked from your loaded profile on joining.
Does Egg Hatchery hatch every egg?
No. Family eggs use physical incubators. Older available eggs follow their hand-hatching instructions.
Can I activate another pet?
Yes. It replaces the current active companion, provided the pet is unlocked and no activation timer blocks you.
Why did my purchased item not appear in my hand?
Open Pet Delivery and collect it with an empty inventory slot.
Must I buy an attachment to use a pet?
No. Permanent attachments are optional and cannot be replaced after application.
