How to start

First read Your Pets and Pet Details. Is the intended companion active, idle, upgrading or withdrawn? Next check Pet Delivery if an earned item or purchase is absent from your inventory. Finally check the relevant resource, cooldown or timer rather than assuming every delay is a failure.

If you are using an item, read its instructions and hold it in your main hand. A family egg belongs in an incubator. A physical pet head redeems a companion. A permanent attachment must target your own active floating pet. These actions use similar right-click gestures but are not interchangeable.

Steps

1. Identify the exact pet or carried item and the menu action you attempted.
2. Read the newest feedback message rather than repeating clicks.
3. For missing rewards, open Pet Delivery and free an inventory storage slot.
4. For a missing visual, check active state, Pet Visibility, Pet Labels and vanish.
5. For a failed ability, check trigger, rarity, cooldown, meter, region and valid target.
6. Reopen the menu or rejoin when instructed. Contact the server team if the same held or loading error remains.

What can go wrong

Delivery needs an empty storage slot for each whole stack. A partly filled compatible stack is insufficient. If an entry is held, rejoin. If it stays held afterward, contact the server team. Do not assume the item was lost merely because it is unavailable in the current menu.

A purchase needs the displayed coins and an available economy. A quote can change in menus with rotating stock or dynamic prices. Reopen that shop and read the current offer rather than using a remembered price. An upgrade additionally needs its target shard and an eligible pet. Being able to open a menu does not mean every action in it is affordable.

Worked example

Use your Pebble Whelp for this example.

Your pet head is not visible, but Your Pets marks it active. Open Pet Hub and check Pet Visibility. If heads are shown but only the name is missing, check Pet Labels instead. If the account is vanished, companion visuals are hidden until the vanish state ends. None of those checks requires withdrawing or replacing the pet.

For slow XP, compare the event's skill with the family skill. Primary feed is 100%, other-skill feed is 50%, and repeated actions can reduce conversion within their window. A change in feed or activity explains a different gain without implying the pet's saved XP disappeared.

More to know

A locked pet cannot be activated or withdrawn. An activation timer blocks summoning until its displayed end. Activating an already active pet does not create another companion. A selected EXP Share pet is removed from idle selection when you activate it, so check that selection after switching companions.

Abilities are suppressed in restricted regions. The matching skill XP bonus and meter-filling actions follow separate paths, so a full meter or continuing XP does not prove that ability use is allowed. There is no universal world ban for all pet channels. Wild nests have their own world rules, and incubators have their own placement, biome and local-access checks.

Bond does not currently grow through active time, and tier multipliers are not applied to pet stats. Mastery records ownership without a permanent stat bonus. General talent bonus types also lack active effect application. Use those guides before treating a displayed progression label as a broken combat increase.
